“Look, Just for You!”

“Mommy, mommy, this leaf is just for you” is absolutely one of my favorite memories of my daughter’s innocent toddler days. She loved to pick up beautiful fall leaves and give them as gifts for her family.
When I attended the Empower Music Festival in Kansas City there were so many beautiful leaves on the sidewalks. I picked up a few and a wished I could say Aubrey, Aubrey these are just for you! My daughter is still sharing lots of love in Canada… where the national flag is of course a maple leaf.
I have been fortunate to enjoy the fall in a number of states. Sending you blessings of simple things and the marvel and wonder of beautiful fall leaves.
One of the highlights of the Empower Music Fesitval was seeing my song on the screen.
A shout-out of thanks to Anthony Byrd and Striking Copper for the opportunity to perform at the Honey Festival. Yes, I know the outfit is lacking, and I have been told the outfit isn’t right… but I am not going to let that stop me from sharing the joy on my face. It’s the soul, baby, not the clothes that define a person.
